The Client

Island Green Power specialises in the development of utility-scale solar farms and battery energy storage projects, overseeing the entire development process from start to finish including the sourcing of land, obtaining planning consents, and securing grid connections.

Its mission is to help countries increase their solar energy generation, making more renewable energy possible whilst drastically reducing carbon emissions.

 

The Background

Island Green Power has a unique mission and business model.  This project necessitated a detailed planning phase to understand all the business requirements, to build a comprehensive strategy that would address all the complexities. This process allowed the team to scope a single system solution that addresses all its processes.

 

The brief

Island Green Power wanted a scalable solution that could provide a unified, real-time view of the financials across multiple companies and territories. 

Working with Luke Howe (an Account Executive from Oracle NetSuite with extensive experience within the energy and utility sector) we identified Suite Success Financials First Standard Cloud Service with One World as the right solutions to unify systems, provide the desired visibility of financial information across the group and introduce leading systematic controls.

 

Highlight from the project - what were the key learnings?

The success of this project centred on the collaborative working relationship we developed with Island Green Power and their team, with a collective focus on providing innovative, scalable solutions.

As a result, we were able to deliver the project, from the briefing phase through to implementation in under four months, on time and on budget.

 

What happened next…

Following the UK roll out, Spain and Italy are next on the agenda.  Island Green Power is set to expand rapidly, and as the company continues to grow, 3RP will provide support to ensure the solution remains aligned with the business's evolving needs.
